Store manager Karen Pickard (pictured) is today left counting the cost of an ram-raid attack on a village shop.
A vehicle was driven into the front of the Lincoln Co-operative Society's Late Shop in Bar Lane, Waddington at 2am.
Inspector Dick Holmes of Lincolnshire Police said: "We are still looking for the vehicle used in the attack.
"It may have been a car or it may have been a truck or something heavier.
"There will be a vehicle out there somewhere with some damage on it and I would think it is probably not that far away.
"The attack caused extensive structural damage to the front of the building."
He said three youths had been arrested this morning in connection with the ram raid and property had been recovered.
Manager of the neighbouring Budgen's shop, Paul Deiry, said: "You don't expect it to happen in a quiet place like this."
