It Only Took A Minute
Chapter Nine

September 15, 2007

It had been eight months since Allison had gotten her memory back and three months since she had been walking on her own.

“Aargh!” Allison exclaimed walking into the living room.

“What’s wrong sweetie?” Justin asked from his seat on the couch.

Allison flopped down next to him.

“Shouldn’t planning this wedding be easier considering I’m just basically re-booking and re-ordering everything from before?”

“One would think.” Justin commented.

“Well it’s not.” She said with a sigh.

“Come here.” Justin said pulling her onto his lap.

Allison rested her head against Justin’s chest and his arms went around her waist.

“Wanna run away with me?” she asked.

Justin kissed her cheek.

“Sure, I’d go anywhere with you.”

“Have I ever told you how much I love you?” she asked.

“Maybe you’d better refresh my memory.” He joked.

Allison turned and looked into Justin’s eyes.

“I love you.”

Justin couldn’t speak, Allison looked at him with so much love in her eyes he was almost afraid he could never return all the love she had for him.

“Something wrong?” she asked.

Justin shook his head.

“No, everything’s perfect. I love you too.”

“I don’t think I’ve ever been this nervous.” Allison said to Krista.

“Don’t worry.” Krista replied.

Nicki straightened out the back of Allison’s dress.

“Once you see Justin you’ll be fine.”

“Don’t you think that will just make her nauseous?” Krista asked.

“Hey!” Allison said giggling. “That’s my husband you’re talking about…well my husband in about five minutes.”

As if on cue Marie walked in.

“Time to go.”

Allison nodded and Nicki and Krista each gave her a hug. She walked out to the back of the church and linked arms with her father. First Anna and Bryan, the flower girl and ring bearer, walked down the aisle. Next went Krista, then Nicki, and three of Allison’s other friends. Finally it was her turn. The wedding march began and Allison took her first step. Everyone in the church stood up as she walked in. But Allison wasn’t looking at them. Her eyes were concentrating on Justin.

“For the vows Allison and Justin have chosen to write their own.” The pastor told the crowd.

He nodded at Allison.

She took a deep breath.

“Being with you makes me happier than I ever thought I could be. You are everything to me and I’m so glad we’re going to share our lives together. I don’t know how to thank you for everything that you’ve given me and done for me other than to tell you that I love you with all I am always and forever.”

Now it was Justin’s turn.

“The day I met you was almost surreal. I never thought I’d have someone like you in my life. I thank whoever is looking out for me everyday that we were brought together. You and I have been through all of life’s ups and downs and we came out from each experience stronger than we were before. I love you with all my heart always and forever.”

“I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.” The pastor said.

Justin lifted the veil off of Allison face. He leaned towards her and brushed his lips against hers.

“Hey Mrs. Timberlake.” He whispered.

Allison smiled.

“Has a nice ring to it doesn’t it?”

The couple turned to face all their family and friends who stood up and applauded.

“I feel like I’m in a movie.” She said as they made their way down the aisle.

“Here’s to happily ever after.” He said.
