     Figure 1 depicts the Search Database Tabbed Pane. For instance, we want to search for the keyword "multimedia" under Column Caption in Access database. The following fields have the data indicated in square brackets:

     Next, the Submit button was selected. After a few minutes (depending on your network traffic), a screen similar to Figure 2 appears.

     Figure 2 depicts the Status Tabbed Pane with the progress bar(s) indicating the current search progress. When the progress bar(s) reaches 100%, a Results Table pops up (Click here for more information on how to use the Results Table). Notice that all Rows of the Results Table under the Column Caption have the keyword "multimedia" (i.e. it matches the entered keyword to search for in the Search By Caption Field).

     Assume that we want to play the movie trailer titled sample1. Simply click on the corresponding row of the Results Table to view it. Figure 3 and Figure 4 shows a JMF Window playing a multimedia file (e.g. QuickTime MOV) and an Image Window displaying an image file (e.g. GIF) respectively. Note that the Multimedia Byte Stream Information is also updated once the JMF / Image Window appears.
