History:
1984: Born in Burnaby, BC
1994: First started to get into music when his older brother, Steve, introduced
him to Grunge. I started listening to the likes of Pearl Jam, Sound Garden,
a little Nirvana (Live MTV), and some Smashing Pumpkins.
1996: Joining his school concert band with the want to be a drummer was turned
down and resorted to the trombone instead.
1997: First year of high school where he would meet the people that would mold
him into the man who he is today. 1998: Started guitar class with brother, Russ,
where they soon met Matt McArthur and Jordan Williams and started there way
to being rockers. 1999: Jer gives up trombone.
2000: Formed a band with his brother Russ and friend Pete Last called Gappa.
This band lasted for a year or so and was based around almost all improvising.
Jer finally got to start playing drums. Gappa became a small time hit.
2001: Jer gained experience from Gappa shows on how performing works and the
want to entertain. But, most importantly Wailing Corpse was formed and began
to rock… From the first show we had a little fallowing
2002: Gappa broke up due to some reason. Reunion is expected in about 22 years
or so. Wailing Corpse continued to play shows and
