| Technology Workshop Teacher - 2005-2007 Teacher of a variety of technology workshops for colleagues. Workshops are designed to help teachers improve their skills in basic program applications and in using technology in the classroom. CEESA Conference attendance - Warsaw, Poland - 2006 MAIS Conference attendance - Cairo, Egypt - 2006 Puget Sound Center Teaching and Technology Coaching Institute - 2004 Grant recipient. This award acknowledges leadership in technology use in the classroom, as well as offering a year of training in peer technology coaching. Teacher Leadership Project - 2002 Gates Grant recipient. This prestigious award included technology equipment and a series of training seminars over the course of one year. Puget Sound Center Teach the Teachers - 2001-2002. Workshop series for teaching, learning and technology use in the classroom. Intel Teach to the Future - 2001 participant. A series of courses on using Microsoft Office programs (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and FrontPage) to enhance classroom lessons. Professional Learning Communities at Work - 2001. Acknowledged as a leader amongst my colleagues, I was chosen as the middle school representative to atend this PLC conference with school administration, returning to implement the program into our school. |
