We currently publish and market FOUR software packages that are designed to address the data analysis and decision support needs of Strategic Planners, Marketing Practitioners and a variety of other end users. All three packages support both DOS and WINDOWS.
ARGUS is a system that takes a MATRIX of OBJECTS (rows) and VARIABLES (columns) as input, and produces a PERCEPTUAL MAP, as well as a CLUSTERING of OBJECTS.
ARGUS will help you to see PATTERNS in NUMBERS stored as TABLES, and will also tell you which OBJECTS are similar/dissimilar, which VARIABLES are measuring the SAME underlying characteristics, and which OBJECTS are most closely associated with which VARIABLES.
Perceptual mapping is useful because it allows you to VISUALIZE numerical data in summary form.
TURBO Spring-Stat(c) Modular Stat Package
This is a full-featured statistical analysis package that includes DATA MANAGEMENT, GRAPHICS, an EXPERT SYSTEM, and STATISTICAL procedures that run the gamut from simple Descriptive Statistics and Cross Tabs, to sophisticated Multivariate Analysis and Time Series/Forecasting.
This package is accessible to both novices and power users, and offers many features that take advantage of the unique environment provided by the latest generation of PC's.
MktSIM(c) Marketing Simulation Model
This modeling and forecasting package is used for organizing information about a BRAND/PRODUCT and its COMPETITION, fitting a MODEL to this information, and then SIMULATING the probable effects of various marketing strategies.
Once fitted to satisfactory tolerances, the MODEL can be used to play what-if with PRICING, PRODUCT QUALITY, ADVERTISING, and DISTRIBUTION for the brand of interest (both existing and new products) and its competition.
TrialMAP(c) Trial/Repeat New Product Simulation Model
TRIAL MAPŠ is a software package whose aim is to estimate and/or FORECAST the UNIT SHARE of a NEW PRODUCT at the end of its first year in the marketplace, based on a set of INITIAL CONDITIONS (parameters). TRIAL MAPŠ is a Windows(tm) based GUI software package that's simple and easy to operate. Unlike other new product models, inputs need not be entered for every single time period that's examined. All INITIAL CONDITION PARAMETERS are entered ONCE in a Parameter Dialog Box, and the model then generates outputs for each time period automatically. The output for the full time span under examination, is summarized in a formatted report accompanied by graphs.
We tried to achieve a balance between having a large enough number of parameters to make the model 'realistic in its details', and keeping it simple enough so that it could be used instructively to play 'what if' games even if NO HARD DATA is available.
Parameter inputs are derived from a combination of Marketing Data (Market Size [Units], Competition, etc.), Consumer Research Data (Trial Rate, Maximum Trial Penetration, Repeat etc.), and Product Manager judgments (Marketing Investment, Awareness, Distribution, Pricing etc.). Reasonable DEFAULT parameters can be modified systematically even if NO HARD DATA is available, to play various 'what if games'.
TRIAL MAPŠ is suitable for both Students and Marketing Practitioners.
