"FBLA is important for a number of reasons. The most important of which is that it provides experience and opportunities that students cannot receive in a classroom. This wonderful Professional Organization has helped to teach my students valuable lessons in self-confidence, coordinating community service drives, and entrepeneurship."
-- Carol Wilt, Lee FBLA adviser

FBLA provides innovative leadership and career development programs that bring business and education together in a positive working relationship to achieve results.

FBLA gives you the opportunities, experiences, skills, and confidence to achieve your dreams.

You will gain the experience and knowledge to build your business and leadership skills and gain confidence through working with local businesses, community leaders, and the public.

FBLA takes you to major business centers throughout the United States as you attend conferences in cities like Chicago, IL; Washington, DC; Orlando, FL; and Long Beach, CA. You will get to know people in your state and across the nation at state and nationally sponsored events.

It's not who you know, it's who knows you! Through active involvement in FBLA, you will make connections to the business world and form networks and friendships that will last a lifetime.

FBLA offers thousands of dollars in scholarships and educational programs. An FBLA membership gives you distinction when you apply for other scholarships, colleges, and career opportunities.

FBLA is the world's largest youth volunteer force for the March of Dimes as well as many other regional and national nonprofit organizations. Come make a difference and gain valuable leadership skills by planning projects and serving your community.

Choose from more than 30 different event categories including web page design, marketing, business plan, public speaking, and job interviews. Members have the opportunity to compete and win on the local, state, and national levels.

Become a leader in your school, state, or country when you become an FBLA officer. Put your leadership to the test by leading hundreds or thousands of students dedicated to success, just like you.

"What are a Quarter Million Teenagers Doing Right?"

"Up until my junior year, I was not active in FBLA. Sure, I went on the NY trip and I attended a few of the socials. But I never realized the work that goes on behind the scenes. Nor did I ever imagine that I would become Secretary of the most fun (and largest) club in the school. It all started when I befriended adviser Mrs. Bell through one of my business classes. She was so dedicated to FBLA, and I became curious about the club. I volunteered to help run one of the general membership meetings, and had a great time. I loved being a part of the show instead of watching it. Now, here I am two years later and preparing to compete at the National FBLA competition this summer in Long Beach, CA."
-- Colin Bliss, Lee FBLA Secretary
