Sure, I went on the NY trip and I attended a few of the socials. But I never realized the work that goes on behind the scenes. Nor did I ever imagine that I would become Secretary of the most fun (and largest) club in the school. It all started when I befriended adviser Mrs. Bell through one of my business classes. She was so dedicated to FBLA, and I became curious about the club. I volunteered to help run one of the general membership meetings, and had a great time. I loved being a part of the show instead of watching it.
