On November 13, 1997, six charter members formally made the decision to join together and "collectively" embark upon a journey to further education and practical experience in various theories of financial and investment management.

"Seizing" upon the ever increasing access to knowledge and tools available to todays individual investor, we began our mission to succeed in developing skills and discipline to produce capital appreciation exceeding the rate of return of the S&P500.

As our membership grows, both in numbers and in investment prowess, we intend to gain from the diverse backgrounds of our individual partners. Ranging from very little to very great our individual members experience in finance, ability to analyze and "examine" business success or failure, and creativity to properly "assess" current economic conditions, will provide us the necessary means to achieve our mission. We also expect to benefit from the discipline of group consensus.
