RTS files are used with the “Remote Ridicule” system that Apogee originally created for Rise of the Triad, which allows you to taunt your opponents with pre-recorded sounds. Other games I know of that use Remote Ridicule include Duke Nukem 3D, Shadow Warrior, Redneck Rampage, and Redneck Rampage Rides Again. There are probably many other BUILD-liscenced games that use RTS-compatible Remote Ridicule, too. (Blood's Remote Ridicule sounds can't be redefined without recompiling the massive sound archive.   )

On this page you'll find the RTS files that I've made, with lists of what the sounds say.

Remember that all players need to use the same RTS file if you want your insult heard. (Plus, I think not using the same file can also lead to sync-errors.)
