Exodus of the Horde (Prologue)

"Somewhere in the Arathi highlands, Thrall, young war Chief of the Orc hordes
wakes from his terrible dream..."

Other Objectifs:

- Find The Prophet
-Follow the narractor's directions
-Find The Prophet
|
|
This is quite a basic mission, with nothing very complicated involved. Do whatever the narrator says, moving from banner to banner. If you don't see the next banner (like after you defeat the gnolls in their camp), just follow the path until you reach one.
Past the river you'll find a sleeping ogre. It might sound like he's a beast to kill, but he's really not that difficult, although he gives no treasure. Thrall has now reached his experience cap for the mission, as for the campaign. Kill it or not. It makes no difference. West of the ogre and south of the path is a clearing with a treasure chest in it, containing a Potion of Healing.
Past the ogre to the east is another area off the main path. This particular area contains three golems, who will drop a Ring of Protection (+1). North of the golems, again off the path, you'll find some trolls. One of them will drop a Manual of Health (Permanently adds +50 to hit points). The prophet is at the next banner, so what are you waiting for? The mission will end when you talk to him, meaning it doesn't matter if you lose units or not.
Cool note: In the north-east corner of the map, there is a pair of pirates guarding a treasure chest of "phat lewt." Although you cannot get there, you can see them by using the "iseedeadpeople" cheat code, reveiling the map.

One again, just follow the instructions of the narrator. It will guide you through building a decent base. Once you're completed the building quest, humans will rebuild the bride southeast of your base. As you train grunts, set the rally point of the barracks to be next to the two watch towers near the bride. Then, once to humans rebuild the bridge and attack your towers, your grunts will help them easily. If you want, you can just build your army in your base, and use your two Guard Towers to attack one enemy at a time. You should defeat them before your tower falls.
Note: North of the first watch tower southeast of your base, you'll find some gnolls. One of them will drop a Scroll of Health.
The only offensive unit you can train is a grunt, so produce a full army (12 units = Thrall + 11 Grunts). Don't forget to upgrade your units at the War Mill. Don't worry about the upkeep. Send your army across the bride and into enemy territory. There aren't many interesting areas off the path, so just follow the path, killing all the humans you meet, and freeing all the orcs. When you find shamens, add the to your group, replacing your grunts.
Eventually you'll come to an area with three guard towers. Storm the towers one at a time, and once they're all destroyed, Grom will burst out of his cage, and your Prologue Campaign will be finished.
