5.    In view of the European Union's policy to apply a scale when compensating losses the contribution for small and medium sized undertakings will qualify for an additional incremental percentage of 10%.

6.    In order to be eligible under the Besluit financiële bepalingen bodemsanering applications must be filed prior to 1 January 2008.

7.    The right to a contribution, just as the obligation to carry out a cleanup, shall be transmitted to a new owner or leaseholder when the site is sold. The transfer of a property will not release the former owner or leaseholder from his obligation to carry out a clean up. A relief is only possible if the new owner or leaseholder has given financial security for the cost of the clean up to the competent province or municipality.
