The
Warfare Modification is a 3rd person round based game for Unreal Tournament
based on the Dark Ages where the fighting was hard and vicious. Players
must learn the trade of swordsmanship to be able to survive the senarios
in Warfare because as everybody knows size isn't the only thing that
matters, it's how you use your tools.
Players
will fight on a variety of battle feilds including castles, medieval
towns, camps, forests and fields through senarios such as:
: Battle - teams battle it out to see who is dominant
: Fortress Assult - one team must infiltrate a Fortress and secure
it (kill the bad people)
: Assasination - Kill the King (if other team kills king that
team loses)
: Rescue - rescue the king/queen/princess
: Theft - steal the crowned jewels, or money, or both
*more play modes may arrive, as always things can change and probably
will*
Weapons
for Warfare are based on weapons found in medieval times and will include,
but are not limited to (at this point) various swords, sheilds, spears,
knifes, axes, hammers, bows, crossbows. Weapons can be bought at the
start of rounds and can be found around maps as fortresses and castles
had armories stocked with weapons and armor. Money will be given at
the end of rounds with the most money going to people in this order:
- Survived & Team Won
- Died & Team Won
- Survived & Team Lost
- Died & Team Lost
Money will not be awarded for kills as we feel rewarding people for
killing is wrong, teamwork is more important and those that work togeather
will be rewarded sweetly.
In
addition there may be a campaign mode for Warfare in which maps will
follow a certain branching order depending on which team wins which
map. This is an early idea so don't expect to see this for awhile.
