                                               Explanation of Equipment List

The following columns found in the equipment list:

Row # This is the unique identifier given to a particular unit in the game.  If using the special scenario editor this can be changed.
Equip Name This is the name that will appear on your screen when looking at the unit.
Class The class of the unit:
FTR = Fighter
INF = Infantry
RCN = Recon
ATP = Air transport point
ATY = Artillery
AD = Air defence
AT = Anti tank
TPT = Transport
TK = Tank
TB = Tactical Bomber
LB = Level Bomber
NTP = Naval transport point
sCr = Heavy Cruiser
sDD = Corvette, Destroyer,  MTB
sLC = Light Cruiser
sBC = Battle Cruiser
sBS = Battleship
SUB = Submarine

Date This is the date that the unit is available, ie if the date is 7/42 then you couldn’t buy the unit before July 1942.
Cost The prestige cost of the unit.
Mo Movement points per turn.
Sp Spotting range.
Fu Fuel
Am Ammo carried.
In Initiative
Ra Shooting range.
SA Attack against soft targets.
HA Attack against hard targets.
AA Anti air attack value.
NA Naval attack value.
GD Ground defence against land units.
AD Air defence against air units.
CD Close defence.
TT Target type, ie hard, soft, air, naval.  ie a tank is “hard”.
RM Ranged defence modify.
MM How the unit moves:
L = Leg movement (you walk)
TO = Towed
A = Air movement
W = Wheeled
T = Tracked
DN = Naval movement
HT = Half track
Mt = Mountain movement
All terrain = 4 wheel drive type wheeled movement.
Tr Air Transport:
AB = Air drop able, can para drop
AM = Air mobile, can be air transported but not air dropped.
NT =   Can’t be air transported
Air The unit flies.
Ignore Entrench A “Y” means that the unit ignores the entrenchment’s of a defending unit when it attacks.
Bridging The unit acts as a bridging unit.  In this Pacific file there is now a separate Bridging unit instead of the normal Bridging Infantry.  This new Bridging unit is very weak, so protect it!
No Soft Attack The unit can’t attack units that are classed as soft.  For example anti air craft guns have a SA value but are not able to attack soft targets.  The unit still defends its self if attacked by a soft type unit.
No Hard Attack See “No Soft Attack”
No Air Attack See “No soft Attack”, used by bombers, means that if attacked by a fighter it shoots back but during its turn it caught attack other air units.  Some bombers are classed as fighter bombers which means that they can attack other units.
No Purchase The unit can’t be purchased during a campaign or scenario.  It can only be placed on the map by the creator of the scenario or campaign.   
No Leader? The unit can’t be given a leader.
Clear Terrain The unit treats all land terrain as clear, i.e. used by mountain troops.
