Noun Frame Sentence

Three Things to Remember about the Frame Sentence:

  1. The article the appears in parentheses because not all nouns can follow a, an, or the. An article may or may not appear in the test sentence.
  2. The adjective phrase all right can be varied (unacceptable, short, slow), depending on the meaning of the noun.
  3. Only a single word at a time can be tested in the noun slot of the frame sentence.

Verb Frame Sentence

or
They must ______________________ good.

Adjective Frame Sentence

The ________ man seems very _____________.

Adverb Frame Sentence
