12th INDIAN DIVISION British units only. Formed in March 1915, the Division arrived in Mesopotamia in April 1915. The 12th Division served in Mesopotamia until it was broken up in March 1916. The Brigades remained independent after the Division was broken up until forming part of the 15th Division in May 1916. Unless
