Museum A Company joined the 7th Bn Royal Irish Rifles in March 1915. The remainder of the Regiment formed the Royal Jersey Garrison Bn, this Battalion remained in Jersey.

Museum A Company joined the 6th Bn Royal Irish Regt in March 1915. The remainder of the Regiment formed two Battalions. 1st (Service) Bn. Formed in 1916. Joined the 202nd Brigade, 67th Division. 2nd (Reserve) Bn. Formed in 1916 in Guernsey and supplied drafts to the 1st Bn.
