3rd (Reserve) Bn. Regular. Stayed in the UK and supplied drafts to the Regular Battalions overseas.

4th (Extra Reserve) Bn. Regular. Stayed in the UK and supplied drafts to the Regular Battalions overseas.

5th (Extra Reserve) Bn. Regular. Stayed in the UK and supplied drafts to the Regular Battalions overseas.

6th (Service) Bn. K1. Formed at Naas in Aug 1914 in the 30th Brigade, 10th Division.

7th (Service) Bn. K1. Formed at Naas in Aug 1914 in the 30th Brigade, 10th Division.

8th (Service) Bn. K2. Formed in Sep 1914 in the 48th Brigade, 16th Division.

9th (Service) Bn. K2. Formed in Sep 1914 in the 48th Brigade, 16th Division.

10th (Service) Bn. Formed at Dublin at the end of 1915. Eventually joined the 190th Brigade, 63rd Division.

11th (Reserve) Bn. Formed at Dublin in Jul 1916. Stayed in the UK and supplied drafts to the Service Battalions overseas.

The Regular Reserve Battalions may also have been used to supply drafts to the Service Battalions as well as the Regular Battalions.
