Air soft is a military simulation. 

You could compare air soft with paintball. 

The only big difference is with air soft you play with exact replica's of real guns that's what makes it so cool.

And instead of paintballs it uses 6mm BB's which look like this: .

It all started in Japan (it's basically Japan's answer to Paintball).

Air soft guns are mainly produced in Japan and Taiwan then shipped al over the world.

I've never actually played air soft because the guns are illegal in Holland :( :(
