ATC Crest and motto
The motto 'Venture Adventure' means just that!
Cadets from Carmarthen Squadron often combine training for their Duke of Edinburgh Award Expeditions with map reading and navigation exercises that involve finding particular features in 'Wild Country' - like the location of some of the many Aircraft crash sites in the Brecon Beacons, often in quite remote terrain, with few obvious pointers helps to develop their skills.
All cadets are supervised by experienced and nationally qualified Mountain Leaders.
