NEWSLETTERSPECIAL EVENTS "ErieQuest Marine Heritage Festival" will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2009.
Leamington Yacht Club and the Friends of ErieQuest will co-host the festival. The festival will begin with the 'Blessing of the Diver and Fleet' ceremony. Immediately following the 'Blessing' ceremony, the Yacht club will begin a boat parade out of the marina past the Leamington dock.

| The 'Blessing of the Diver' ceremony remained as the opening event for this day. Many sailors lost their lives in some tragic event. ErieQuest honors these people and pays tribute to these people by remembering them and the loss their families endured. Blessing was given by lay minister Patricia Arnew. Remember to go forth, explore these sunken treasures with the respect they deserve and dive safely. |
