Greetings! I hope all is well and you and your families are in the best of health and spirit. First, I would like to thank God for the many blessings that He has bestowed upon my family and I. To the Most Worshipful Grand Master, the Honorable James F. Troutt II, thank you Sir for appointing me as Special District Deputy Grand Master liaison to California.

As mentioned in the mission statement on our home page, this web site will act as a source of information for Prince Hall Masons residing here in California as well as those passing through that belong to Washington State and Jurisdiction. Our intent is to keep you abreast of current programs and another means of contacting your perspective Lodges. It is very important that we keep the lines of communication open so that we can all be on the same sheet of music. I have appointed a staff to assist me in this endeavor so that we can get updated information out to you as efficiently as possible. I would also like to encourage you to sign up for the Masonic Monitor which is published by our Grand Lodge quarterly. This newsletter gives you a chance to see what Lodges are doing around the Jurisdiction. Our brothers are doing an outstanding job in our community's around the globe and it is mentioned in the Monitor.

Finally, I want to encourage each of you to go out and visit with lodges in your local areas. I have visited lodges from both Grand Lodges here and have been received with open arms. The only way we can stay proficient is to go out and be involved. California is a big state and I need the assistance from every brother to get the word out. In the near future, I would like to get all the brothers together for a reunion. Check our message center for dates and times to be published soon.
