arius was one of the most peaceful of the Immortals. He did not however start that way. He was once a powerful and ruthless general that conquered several countries across ancient Europe. When he came to Paris 1500 years ago, he confronted the "Good Immortal" and beheaded him. Darius was overwhelmed by the Quickening and its goodness that it held and became a changed man. He turned his armies around and spent the rest of his days living as a Priest in France. In present day, Darius was almost drawn from his sanctuary, the St. Julien le Pauvre Church, when Grayson, an officier in Darius army in the days of his warhood, began to kill off his students one by one. Fortunately for him, Duncan MacLeod beheaded Grayson and saved Darius from having to leave his safehood. Unfortunately for Darius, Holy Ground does not stop mortals. A group of Renegade Watchers, traitors to our organization, led by Horton, entered his church and beheaded the great Darius. He will be solely missed. He was one of our last great hopes for someone good to win the Prize.
