K ane fought with Genghis Kahn in the Mongolian armies of the 12th and 13th Centuries and later studied under the sorcerer Nakano in the mid 1400's. He betrayed Nakano and 200 years later he returned to claim Nakano's power of illusion. Is was in the cave of Nakano's that he beheaded his former master before Connor MacLeod and received his Quickening and all his power, but in turn, trapped himself in the cave for centuries. Trapped inside the cave, Kane vowed to seek out Connor and get his revenge for leaving him there in the cave. It wasn't until in 1994 during an archeological expedition, that Kane finally escaped his rocky tomb. But his freedom was short lived as in a final confrontation between he and MacLeod, Connor finally ended Kane's evil reign.
