The Intrepid Adventures of

Cody and Nero

This page is devoted to our two darling kitties:  Cody and Nero.

Cody is a silver-grey tabby from the San Francisco SPCA.  He's pretty big weighing in at 13lbs, but he's also extremely timid.

Nero is the more recent adoptee--a black American long-hair from the Ann Arbor SPCA.  He's quite spunky and more energetic than everthing else in the house!  He's just a little smaller than Cody at around 12lbs.

To give you an idea of their dispositions, most of the adventures start out with "One day while Cody was taking a nap, Nero was bored..."

But Nero is too eager.

The Spider Adventure

Nero finds a crawly thing on the floor.  What a great toy! When finally the fun is done, there is a satisfying end to the hapless arachnid.  As either Nero or Cody would tell you, "They make good snacks, too!"

Humans get red-eye from looking at the flash, dogs and cats get green-eye.  Something about the retina, I suppose.

After watching Night of the Living Dead!

Nero is often seen lounging about in poses that don't look very comfortable.  He also enjoys table tennis and fleeting from zombies.

After an intrepid adventure, there's nothing quite like a nap. Especially if Mom is around!

The cats miss Gale when she's on call, so they spend time with her when she comes back--even if she's asleep.
