Nikki_Lynn ..."You're first, my dear," Wax said, grinning. "You won't get away with this! We won't let you!" said Linz. "In a few moments," replied Wax, "You won't care what happens to you and your friends or my brother." He pushed a button on his remote, and the machine on Linz's head lit up. Linz's eyes openned wide, and she screamed. A moment later, Wax pushed the buttom again, and the machine stopped. Linz stood up, a vacant look on her face. "Linz?" said Nikki_Lynn, "Linz?!" "She's not listening," said Wax, "From now on, she only listens to me. But don't worry. You'll be joining her in just a minute." Wax removed the machine from Linz's head, and moved towards Nikki_Lynn. Suddenly, an alarm went off. "Drat," said Wax, "I'm supposed to be meeting my brother for lunch. No matter. You'll keep." He turned to Linz and Jeff. "Watch them. If they try to escape, you know what to do." Wax left the room, presumably to return to the real world. The Brady Bunch didn't know what they were going to do... |
Holly ...to help themselves. The situation looked kinda bleak. Just then, Holly and Mel came to. Nikki_Lynn capped up the situation. Holly thought about it and realized, "Yes! Our Minion titles!!! Brad made me Chief Salad Bar Officer. I'll use salad dressing to grease up the straps and we'll slip out of here. Literally." Mel looked at her with disbelief. "Well, it's a crazy plan, but it just might work." And, of course, it did. They saw Jeff and Linz talking in the corner, oblivious to what was going on. "What are we going to do about Linz? We have to help her." Kathleen said. "I know!" Mel said, "All we have to do is... |
Linz ...get to Wayne FAST, before Wax does. Who know's he's got planned for him!" As they were about to head out the door, they heard a voice behind them. "And where do you think you're going?" As they turned, they saw Jeff, with pie arm raised about to throw another of the lethal pies when they saw Linz grab his arm. "I've got a better idea!" She smacked Jeff with his own pie and turned to the girls. "Hurry! Get out of here while you have the chance!" "What about you?" Kathleen asked. "I'll be OK, but you need to get to Wayne fast, before Wax does something crazy!" Linz said. |
Holly ...that, as Wayne, Wax approached several executives with an idea for a live psychic call-in show. His back-up plan is for "Who Wants to Marry an Ocelot?" to become syndicated. But, that was if all else fails. The Brady Bunch discovered all this when they ran flat into a file box labeled "Wax's Evil Plans-Box 10 of 25." "Wow, looks like Wax has been busy," Mel speculated. "Too bad we can't take these out with us. If we ever get out," Holly bemoaned. "Don't start getting negative. We need to work together if we're going to make it out and stop Wax," Nikki_Lynn told her. Just then, they saw a sign in front of them that said, "Beware of the Hail." "Can somebody tell me what Hail is?" Kathleen shreiked. Holly said, "I think we're about to find out." |
Linz ...And find out they did! As the sentence finished, hail started to fall in the distance the bunch wanted to move closer but Mel and Holly were skiddish due to the incident earlier, but decided to press on. As they moved closer, they found that the hail wasn't falling straight down, it was materializing into a giant horse. "Oh! It all makes sense now!" Mel exclaimed. "What does?" Nikki_Lynn asked. "Plan #26! This is what Wax is planning to turn Wayne into so he can take over his life!"Mel explained. "Yeesh! The guy is very organized, but very stupid!" Kathleen commented. "Look at this" Mel excliamed. "A door that for once isn't labeled!" They went through the door, and found themselves in downtown LA. "Look! I bet that's the Denny's that Wax and Wayne are at!" Holly shouted. So the Bunch ran over to the restaurant and found the twins sitting there, just as they were about to eat. "Don't eat anything Wayne!" Mel shouted. "Wha...? How'd you guys get here?" Wayne asked. "No time to explain, just don't eat anything!" "It's too late Brady Bunch!" Wax said ever-so evilly "I slipped the chemical in the Salad! And I still have Linz by the looks of things. Neither she nor Jeff are with you, so they must be following up on my plan!" As Wax finished his statement, he took out his remote and pointed it at Wayne. As soon as he pushed the button, Wayne turned into a giant horse. "No!" shouted the Bunch in unison. |
Nikki_Lynn ...a real horse materialized in place of the hail horse. "What's going on!?" said the horse. "Wayne?" said Linz, "Is that you? Oh no! Wax got you, too!" "What's going on?" said Wayne, "Where am I?" "Believe it or not, you're inside the internet. The whole Brady Bunch got pulled in, too, but some of us escaped back into the real world!" replied Linz, "I hope they can get us out of here." "How did they get out?" asked Wayne, "Maybe we can follow them." "I already tried," said Jeff, "The doorway sealed itself right after they went through. We're trapped." "Don't worry, Wayne," said Linz, "The others will stop Wax!" "I've won," he said, "Don't you see?" "Where's Wayne!" demanded Nikki_Lynn. "He's safe, for now," said Wax, "In fact, I might even keep him around. I've always wanted a horse." The Brady Bunch didn't know what else to do, so they ran... |
Mel ...in every direction they could. If they split up, the girls figured that one of them could get away and get help. Wax couldn't follow them all at once. So Holly ran towards the front door of Denny's, Mel ran towards the back door, Nikki_Lynn ran towards the back of the restaurant, and Kathleen ran towards the washrooms. Wax, not knowing what he should do, ran after Holly. Holly ran as fast as she could but Wax was incredibly fast. Every second he gained on her until finally Holly could run no more. She collapsed on the ground as Wax caught up to her. As he walked up to her, she knew she was in big trouble.... "Where did Holly go?" Mel demanded. "Oh no! Wax has got her," Nikki_Lynn cried, glancing out the window. "Now what do we do?" Kathleen asked with a worried tone. The Brady Bunch knew that Holly was in trouble, but they also knew that the only way to save Wayne, Linz, and Jeff was to get away from him. So they left Denny's and headed out to find Wax's hideout. Maybe the key to saving their friends was there... |
Holly Of course, they knew where his hideout was, because of his evil plot collection. Nikki_Lynn had perused the folder marked, "Evil Hideouts for Regrouping" thinking that it may come in handy some time. So, the incomplete Brady Bunch tried the first address on the list. "YMCA!?!?" Mel asked. "How tacky is that? I hope they're here." "Let's split up," Kathleen suggested. "It'll be quicker that way. Okay, we'll all meet here in 15 minutes. Good luck. And be careful." |
SueB Sue was in LA w/ MOR 2000, and had seen Wayne in the Houseful of Honkeys show a few days earlier. Loving his carrot top, and his bright, white smile, she knew that she had to save the Brady Bunch. Sue grabbed her X-Files journal, w/ all of the sigs she had collected in LA, and wrote the longest filk imaginable. She knew that if she could get it to Wax, she could lull him to sleep, and all of the Brady Bunch could find their way out of the internet and be on their way home. She had to do this for the sake of The Brad, The Ryan, The Wayne, and all the contestants and Whosers everywhere. "Gosh, I hope this filk is boring enough," she thought as she composed it. "Well, I'm running on about three hours of sleep, so it probably won't make any sense, anyway." After she finished the 30 page filk, she tore it out of her notebook, tossed it to Mel, and flew back to Boston, hoping she had helped her friends in need... |
Nikki_Lynn Mel, looked at the 30 page filk in her hands. "Wow! Sue just came out of nowhere!" she said to herself. She quickly ran off to join the others. She found them easily enough. "Hey guys!" said Mel, "I didn't find Wax, but I think I know how we can beat him. Sue just wrote this 30 page filk! If we can read it to Wax, he'll fall alseep, and we'll be able to stop him!" "Yea!" cried Nikki_Lynn, "Thank goodness for Sue's filks!" "But we still have to find Wax!" said Kathleen. "Let's try the next address...let's see...Hey, wait a sec," said Nikki_Lynn, "This address is right across the street in that abandoned building!" "Maybe we should've looked there first," said Mel. "Come on," said Kathleen, "Let's go foil Wax's plan!" The Brady Bunch ran across the street, just barely dodging the traffic. Nikki_Lynn was nearly hit by a bus, but fortunatly the time she spent on campus had taught her the art of jumping out of the way before she got squished. They reached the other side of the street and entered the building where they saw... |
Babs "The Scooby Doo Gang?" Kathleen said increduously, looking at the group of teenagers in the middle of the abandoned building. They had what seemed to be a hapless old amusement park owner tied up, confessing his evil deeds. "I KNEW this place was too obvious for Wax. He's too clever to pick an abondoned warehouse for his hideout!" Nikki_Lynn said matter-o-factly. "Quick! What's the next place on the list?" "You're not gonna believe this," Mel said. "What is it?" Nikki_Lynn and Kathleen said in unison. With a look of irony, Mel looked up at the two gawking at her and said... |
Nikki_Lynn "...the Whose Line set!" "What?!" cried Kathleen, "But that's too obvious! He wouldn't really hide out on the Whose Line set...would he?" "Well," said Nikki_Lynn, "They say the best place to hide is out in the open...It's worth a shot." "Let's go!" said Mel. The remaining Brady Bunch members hopped on the bus and rode to the studio. They got off, and ran to the nearest costume shop to buy some monkey costumes. "Didn't we already use this gag?" asked Mel. "Hey, it worked before," said Nikki_Lynn. Disguised as Brads family, the Brady Bunch snuck into the studio... |
Anon Storyteller Only to find themselves stopped by security. "I'm sorry, but only the higher primates are allowed on the set," came the warning from the guard. "But we are!" Nikki_Lynn responded, angry at the thought. "We're here to see Brad! We're his family!" The security guard stopped for a moment. Seeming to think on it. Before shaking his head. "If you were Brad's family, you'd know he's not here. The group of them went out for a day on the town ..." Voice cutting off as he realized he'd said too much. Leaving the girls outside the building. "Well, if they're out for a day on the town, that means Wax is among them! Who knows what he'll do!" exclaimed Mel. "So where could they be???" |
Nikki_Lynn Meanwhile, Wax had tricked Ryan, Brad, Greg, and Colin into believing that he really was Wayne and had suggested a road trip. They had all piled into Wax's car and hit the highway. Little did they know that poor Holly was in the trunk, unconcious. "Come on, Jeff," said Linz, "Think! How are we going to get out of here?" "I think I found a way!" said Jeff. Linz rushed over. "Look," said Jeff, "Wax left behind a map of this whole area. It looks like we're still inside the maze! There's a doorway to the real world at the center of the maze. If we can get there, we can get out." "Well, what are we waiting for?" said Linz, "Let's go! Come on Wayne! We're outta here!" They headed off into the maze, hoping they made it out in time to... |
Linz ...stop Wax from trying to bring any more people into the internet, because it seemed like he ran the internet (even though Al Gore invented it! =) ) So as they found the door to reenter the maze, the walls of the red room disintegrated, and they were inside the maze, but right beside them was a car. "How in the world did we get here?" said Colin from inside the car. "Yeah!" agreed Brad, "And where did Wayne go? We still have 48 bottles of beer on the wall!" Linz and Jeff ran over to the car to let everyone out and tried to explain what happened when they heard a banging in the trunk. Ryan ran around to open it where they all found Holly, very much awake, and with a yellow glowing rope around her arms. When Ryan tried to take them off, he got an electric shock. "It must be Wax again!" Linz said. "What are we going to do?" Asked Jeff. "I don't think there's anything we can do" said Wayne, still a horse. The players all did a double take. "Is that you Wayne?" Colin asked in disbelief. "Unfortunatly yes," he replied. "That explains why our driver kept tring to spray me with whipped cream, but anyway..." Just then the image of Wax appeared and boomed... |
Babs "PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN! *Wait, wrong story. Dangit!* AHEM! So, I now have the entire Whose Line cast trapped in my world! And part of the Brady Bunch, too, it seems! I'm missing a few, but they'll be here soon enough, and then nothing can stop my plans!" "But Wax!" the horse Wayne said, "We had such a breakthrough in therapy! We were bonding so well! What about all those Kareoke nights we spent together? Did they mean nothing to you?" "Why does that horse sound like Wayne?" Brad asked. Colin loked at Brad and shook his head, thinking how dumb Brad was. "Didn't you ever see Mr. Ed? Wayne's off the set somewhere and there's peanut butter on the horse's teeth. Sheesh!" "Silence!" Wax yelled. "I will be back to deal with you all later. For now, I must get the rest of the Brady Bunch to complete my evil plans." And with that, his image disappeared. "What are we going to do?" Ryan wailed. "I was going to have more lines in this week's 'Drew Carey', too!" "Come off it, Ryan! We have to find a way out of here before Wax finishes his evil plans!" Linz said. "I think I have a plan," Holly said, walking up to the group. "Hey! What happened to those yellow glowy things you were tied in?" Greg asked, looking at her. "Well, Thanks to Brad, I have 2 titles. My other is "Mini-Minion," so I was able to shrink myself while Wax was talking, and slip out of the bonds..." Just then, a bright flash occured and... |
Mel ...then there was nothing but darkness. "What happened?" Colin demanded. "I don't know, but I can't see a thing," Linz muttered. "Who's the one stepping on my toes?" Greg called out, followed by a loud yelp. "Oops...I think that's me," Wayne's voice answered and backed up in the darkness. As everyone moved slowly around to find each other, Jeff stood there thinking and thinking. "Guys?..." he called out. But everyone was talking loudly, trying to find out if anyone was missing and couldn't hear him. "GUYS!!" Jeff screamed and the talking stopped just as suddenly as it had began. "We're in big trouble here." "What are you talking about?" Holly asked. Speaking out of the darkness, Jeff answered, "The computer has been turned off." "And what does that mean?" Ryan wondered. Jeff sighed. "It means that we're stuck in here. But that's not the worst of it. If someone doesn't turn on the computer soon...we'll all be finished." "Finished?" Brad asked in a worried voice. "Yes, finished," Jeff answered, "For good." "How long do we have?" Colin asked. "Half an hour." And after that, there was only the sound of silence... "We've got to hurry," Kathleen cried. "I agree. I'm worried. I have a very bad feeling that something's happened to the guys," Nikki_Lynn said. "I'm driving as fast as I can guys. If I go any faster we'll get stopped by the police and then we'll *never* help them," Mel told the remaining Brady Bunch members as she pushed down a little more on the gas pedal. And image suddenly appeared on the road ahead of them. "What *is* that?!?" Nikki_Lynn cried as Mel slammed down on the brakes. What they saw before them made their skin crawl... |
Nikki_Lynn ...Wax was standing in the middle of the road, grinning evilly. The car screeched to a halt a few feet away from him. "You know," said Mel, "I'm starting to wish I hadn't hit the brakes." Wax laughed. "Well, well, my dear Brady Bunch," he said, "So good to see you again." "I wish I could say the same," said Nikki_Lynn, "Where are the guys?" "Safe...for the next thirty minutes at least," replied Wax, "And if you want to see them alive again, you'll do exactly what I tell you to." Mel glanced at Kathleen and Nikki_Lynn. "We don't have much of a choice," said Kathleen. Nikki_Lynn nodded. They got out of the car and walked over to Wax. "What do you want us to do?" ask Mel. "Oh just a triffle, really," said Wax, "I want you to get online and spread the word to all of the Whosers that you heard Greg, Ryan, Colin, and my dear sweet brother telling people that all the Whosers are a bunch of pathetic, obsessed, losers!" "What?!" screamed Nikki_Lynn, "Never! Besides, no real Whoser would ever believe a rumor like that!" "I know," said Wax, "That's why I made this little recording...I love technology...You can make your voice sound like just about anyone you want." Wax played the recording for them. It really did sound like the guys, and they were saying some pretty awful things. "Why do you need us to do this?" asked Kathleen, "You could get online just as easily as us!" "True," said Wax, "But the Whosers know you. They trust you. If they really tried, they could trace me and find out who I really am. If you do it..." "There's nothing to trace," said Mel. "Exactly," replied Wax, "Now, come along...Back in the car. I'll drive." Mel, Nikki_Lynn, and Kathleen climbed into the car. What else could they do? They had no choice. Wax started driving, grinning from ear to ear. It seemed to the Brady Bunch that Wax had really won... |
Linz ...As Wax drove, he pulled out his remote puched a few buttons and put the remote away again. "What was that for?" Kathleen asked. "Oh nothing," Wax said, still grinning "Just a little reinforcement." "What did you do to them?" Nikki_Lynn asked. Wax just turned to her and grinned in response. "Great, just great!" said Ryan, "It would be just my luck! The week I get more lines I'm going to be stuck inside a computer." He turned to Colin, "I told you comuters are evil!" But as they walked, Jeff, Linz, and Wayne (still a horse) dropped back. The others turned to look, and as they did they saw the eyes of Jeff, Wayne, and Linz all glow yellow. "Linz? Jeff? you guys ok?" Holly asked. "Wayne man, you ok?" said Brad as he petted Wayne's mane. Just then, in less then a second Jeff grabbed Holly and grasped both of her hands behind her back. He shouted "Don't anybody move." Linz and Wayne were quickly at his side. Linz plucked a single hair from Wayne's mane, smoothed it out and turned it into the rope that was similar to the one she had on earlier. Pretty soon the whole crew (with the exception of Wayne, Jeff, and Linz) were tied up in the rope. "And don't think you'll be able to shrink again or use any of you're silly little monkey powers any more." Linz jeered. Just then the yellow glowing from their eyes faded out. "What just happened?" asked Jeff. Linz shook her head, "I don't know." "Are you guys ok?" Colin asked. "Must be Wax's work," Holly said. "I don't think the others are ok, Wax has done something to them, we have to get out of here," Wayne said. "Holly, can't you just shrink out of the rope?" Linz asked. "No, somehow you nuetrollized my powers," Holly replied. "What are we going to do?" Wayne asked. When all of a sudden, the lights came back on. "Someone must have turned on the computer!" Jeff said. "Sue?!? Is that you?" Linz screamed... |
