The Law of Significant Events

When two(2) events happen in close proximity in time, they may be related and a relationship could be established between them.

There might even be a cause and effect relationship among the events.

For example;

An airline company is having an airline mechanics strike. Three (3) weeks after the mechanics go on strike, a plane has an horrendous crash, killing all passengers aboard. The airline says the mechanics being on strike had no effect on the plane crashing. The striking mechanics union does not make a statement. After the strike the airline admits the managers of the airline did not keep maintenance standards up as high as could of been.

The strike and the crash were significant events. The strike had some "significance" on the effect of the airline crash.
