How to make your secret crush your valentine
By Lucy Tran, Staff Writer

Feb 14 2002

Step #1
Send a love letter to your secret crush without them knowing whom you are. (For example: Sincerely, Your Secret Admirer

Step #2
Try to make eye contact to your secret crush by looking straight into their eyes.

Step #3
Now, blow a Kiss at him/her...if you think you can't do that, try winking at them. If you are too shy to do this, then you are a sore loser

Step #4
Give them as many items such as cheese/meat/anything that's got to do with the four food groups. (Whatever you do, stay away from protein. It can really give that funky smell.) Candies and chocolates can be the best choice.

Step #5
If you think your secret crush still doesn't know who you are, send them another letter instead. Tell them where the best place for you and your crush can finally see each other.

The History of Valentines Day
By Writers in Collaboration
Feb 14 2002

The history of Valentines Day dates back several centuries ago when Valentine, who was in prison and later named a saint, wrote a love letter to a mate of his.

Many people do not know well about why Feb 14 was the chosen date. It might be when Valentine died or the crusafiction of him.

Different kinds of love can be celebrated through this date. "Mushy, Mushy love", (Love between a man or a woman or same gender), Brotherly or Sisterly love, (love between brother and brother or sister or sister), and Brotherly Sisterly love, (love between a brother and a sister).

Many people cannot determine the meaning of Valentines Day in the year. Many think its a "themed" day like Childrens' Day in Japan when they celebrate children.
