Curtis Roland Lewis, born in Mathews County, VA 1869, was the fifth of seven children to Robert T. and Diannah F. Lewis and died in 1959. He married Minnie Ida Peters, born 1877, also in Mathews, to James and Susan Peters. Minnie died in April 1938.
