Here is A Breif Bio on our Band ContagiouS
The band started out in October of 2003, when Matt Scott and a few of his friends, James Taylor, and Colin Mitchell, were board one day and decided to start a band together. They practiced 2 day's every week and wrote up about 7 songs by the time that they were looking for drummers. Their first show that they were going to play, they still didn’t have a drummer so they were going to get their good friend deejay vater's to drum for them. So from what i herd, they never played that show and were scheduled to play battle of the bands on feb 26th. 2 weeks before the show Matt got an email from a drummer from the pier named Dylan Mombourquette. So they tried him out and liked him. So they practiced 4 times before the show. So the day before the show they decided not to play it because they weren’t retry, but the next day (the day of the show) there was a big snow storm that let them get 2 more weeks of practice in. so Contagious was back in the show. It was rescheduled for march 11th and were ready then ever. We played the show and we kicked ass! So now were steady playing shows and we now played 7 shows since 3 month's passed. Their new drummer Dylan Mombourquette has completed their band and have them playing and running shows. They are now just getting ready to play many shows and playing shows across Cape Breton Island and are ready to play shows any time
