this page is for those who already have a website and just
need a little help,
making your website famous.
the most frustrating thing when building a website,is
probably,when we check out our stats,to see nobody went
to see our "maravellous pages",here are some advises
for having a successful website.
first of all,the meta tags,
meta tags are located betwen the
<head> and </head>
tags, they are the passport of your pages,they tell the
spiders (search engines little robots that scan your pages
for keywords) what your webpage is about,if you don t have
any meta,god knows who is going to find your pages on a
search engine!!!
two meta tags are important:
meta keywords: keywords that have to do with your
pages
meta description:the description of your webpage,ironicaly
this tag is more important then the meta for keywords
to insert the meta tags just copy the following in your
webpage,and put your keywords and description between the
"":
note that the titlte is also important it
s the first thing a visitor will see when searching for
a website.
to make your website famous,you also need
to submit it to search engines,here are some links that
might be useful to do so:
www.addme.com
otherwise,use google.com and search for "url submit",plenty
of sites will do it for free.
