Tell Me What's Real - Chapter Five

Joey, Chris, and I spent most the time getting Justin moved into mine and Lance's house. Setting up the room he normally used when he stayed with us. Although I had a feeling he wouldn't be using it much.

Lance still stayed up at the hospital, not moving from Justin's side. Every night I'd go in to check up on them, and he was in the same spot, in the chair, knees pulled to his chest, one arm wrapped around them as his free hand held Justin's, reaching out every so often to brush the curls from his forehead.

I was happy to say that Justin would be getting out tomorrow. Lance needed the rest, or he'd end up in the bed next to Justin's. This was wearing him thin, but he stood strong for Justin. Anyway I'm going to sign out, it's late and I have to be at the hospital early tomorrow.

I closed my journal, and snuggled down into the covers. I hated sleeping without Lance. Truth me told I didn't sleep without Lance beside me, so I was just as tired as he was. I couldn't wait to have him back in my arms. Even though we might have a new addition to our bed.

Morning came to early, but I didn't care. Justin was getting out, and Lance was coming home. I took the quicker shower ever dressing in a pair of rip away track pants and a sweatshirt. Making my way out the house and to the car. It took me no time to get to the hospital.

I made it to Justin's room, and smiled when I saw him sitting up in bed. Still pale and fragil looking, but way better then when he first came in. "Hey."

"Shhh." I looked to the chair after he pointed, and saw Lance curled up and asleep, blankets wrapped around him tightly. I couldn't help but smile at the picture it made.

Justin looked up at me, as I took a seat on the edge of his bed. Shaking his head before turning back to Lance. Nodding a small nod, not saying anything.

The doctors came and Justin signed everything he was suppose to. He was free to leave whenever he was ready. "I brought you some clothes." Laying the bag down on the end of the bed. "Do you need some help?"

He shook his head, before slowly and weakly, pulling himself up from the bed. "Ok. I'll be outside if you need me." He once again said nothing as he nodded. Quietly slipping out into the hallway.

I waited 15 minutes before going in. Lance was awake now and helping Justin with his clothes. I smiled when he looked up. His eyes brightening up a little when he saw me. "Hey."

"Howdy." I walked over to him, dropping a kiss to the top of his head, before taking the bag I had Justin's clothes in. He was dressed now in a simple pair of jammie pants and one of Lance's sweat shirts.

"Are yall ready to go?"

Lance nodded, as he stood, holding his arms out to Justin, who braced his hands on his arms as he pulled himself up from the bed. Leaning into Lance as he was walked to the wheel chair waiting to escort him out.

"We got everything moved in over the last week. Even brought some of your posters, putting them up in your room, to make you feel more at home."

Justin gave a weak smile. "Thank you." It was quiet, and weak, but heartfelt.

Once Justin was settled in the front seat of the car, Lance climbed into the back and I in the driver seat. We headed home.

When we got there, Lance helped Justin out, and I couldn't help but notice how Justin clung on to him like a life preserver. Making it into the house, Lance immeditaly took him up the stairs, promising he'd be back in a minute, that he needed to go take a shower. Justin just nodded.

I was laying in our room, staring at the ceiling when Lance came in. Pulling of his clothes as he made his way to the bathroom. Making a detour, over to me. "I love you."

I smiled up at him. "I love you too."

Pushing myself up on my forearms, as he bent down pressing his lips to mine. The kiss had been the first, in the last couple of weeks and it became desparate. Like something needed.

Breaking the kiss he looked down at me, our eyes locked with one another. "Shower with me." It wasn't a question, and I wasn't going to turn it down.

I pushed myself off the bed, as he started back to the bathroom, once again tugging of his clothes. Mine following his.

The hot bliss of the shower consumed us and we made love for the first time in months. Our bodies slick from the water spraying down on us. Holding him as close to me as possible after our orgasms hit. It was something I needed. Panting slightly as we held each other. Lance crying softly. We both knew things would soon change, and we were trying to grasp on to what little we already had.

I watched as he dried himself off, dressing in a pair of jammie pants, and a sweatshirt he stole from Chris. I knew that he would be going to Justin's room now. But it was ok. Justin needed him.

Once I was finished dressing, I wrapped my arms around Lance hugging him clothes, my face burried in his wet silky strands. "I love you."

His arms around my waist tightly. Nodding into my chest. "I love you too."

"Go. I understand." He looked up at me with sad eyes, I knew this was hard on him. I could see all he wanted to do was curl up in bed with me and sleep.

He nodded again, before letting go and headed to Justin's room. I watched from the door way as he climed into bed with Justin. Justin turning and wrapping himself around Lance. Slowly running a soothing hand through Justin's curls, as he stared up at the ceiling blinking tears away. I hated seeing him like that.

I came into the room, shutting the door behind me, both looking up at me. One with a dead look to his eyes, the other with a hit of saddness and longing. I gave them a smile, before climbing in behind Lance, pulling the cover over all 3 of us. My arm wrapping around Lance's waist from behind as he held Justin. Justin's arms clung around Lance as if he were his old teddy bear, seeking comfort. I lightly rubbed the arm that laid next to mine. Leaning over them both, kissing first Justin's forehead, then Lance's. Sure it was early morning, but the past few week were hectic. Worse then any rehersal.

Lance continued to run his hand through Justin's hair, the younger of us all finally falling into a lightly sleep. Lance leaned back into my arms, his head resting on my shoulder. I just tightened my arms around him, and lightly caressed his stomach, knowing he'd be asleep soon. It was a tactic I learned over the years of holding him in my arms. Stroking his stomach always put him to sleep.

I watched them sleep for what seemed like hours, afraid if I went to sleep I'd loose one of them. Finally snuggling deepering into the covers, and Lance's back I let my eyes droop.

Our lives had seriously changed. For the better.. I wasn't sure yet.
