Here's what you have to do...

Working with two partners, you will create a 10-page long book about a Spanish-speaking country or area of your choice. Your 10-page book will consist of facts and pictures as well as information that would be of interest to you if you were to visit the place you're writing about.

Your book should be mostly in English, since the 7th graders' understanding of Spanish isn't as vast as yours! But, you should also use this opportunity to show off your Spanish and teach them some words for some of the items or ideas in your book. Use Spanish that is very basic, such as "me gusta...","La capital es...", etc.

After you've chosen your partners (someone you know you can rely on), pick a country or Spanish-speaking area from this list. Don't choose a place that someone else has chosen - we've got a lot of places to talk about if we're going to teach the 7th grade Spanish students about the world that speaks Spanish.
