Tuscany is one of the most beautiful parts of Italy and pairs amazing scenery with sun, culture and beautiful food. The area around Siena is known for it’s quality wines, olive oil and stunning scenery. It is here that our wedding will take place.

The centre of the festivities is Casa Bianca (the white house) situated between Siena and Sinalunga. Casa Bianca will be our home for the festivities and we will have the “Casa” to ourselves for the whole weekend.

The agricultural estate of Casa Bianca is situated high on a ridge. The estate is located in an area that is rich both in history and in natural beauty.

From the residential complex there are a series of breath-taking views in whichever direction you  should choose to look, be it south-east, towards Montepulciano and Mt. Cetona, south-west towards Mt. Amiata or west towards the "Crete" and the city of Siena.

The estate of Casa Bianca has been carefully restored and it has found its ancient splendour with its typical rural buildings, its elegant master's villa, streets, gardens and its cultivation of olive trees "Olio D.O.P. Terre di Siena", which were the original resources of the ancient farm and at present produce the superb extra-virgin olive oil - precious taste of the lands of Tuscany.

Casa Bianca offers guests a myriad of opportunities to enjoy a relaxing stay. Apart from the panoramic swimming pool, the village grounds also include a tennis court and numerous tracks for walking and mountain biking.

Accommodation

Tuscany is not catering for mass tourism and accommodation is therefore a bit more expensive than you might expect. We have secured apartments and hotel rooms for all guests at Casa Bianca and have negotiated very favourable rates, given this is high season. Please let us know what accommodation you would like, and we will try to accommodate all wishes, though be aware it is on a first come first serve basis!

The Master Villa

Casa Bianca welcomes guests in the 1700’s century master villa with rooms and suites. 2 of these suites boast beautiful 19^th century frescos on walls and ceilings. They all have antique furniture.

Senior Suite

There are 2 senior suites with antique furniture containing a spacious living room, a bedroom and bathroom. Naturally, each suite is fitted with all modern comforts like air-condition, refrigerator/minibar, satellite/cable TV and telephone.

Junior Suites

The junior suites are similar in style and furnishings to the Senior suites with a bedroom, a smaller seating arrangement and a bathroom.

Double Room

Double Rooms are like the suites furnished with antiques and contain a bedroom and a bathroom.

Luxury Apartments

The village houses surrounding the main hotel are parts of the old farm that have all been fully restored in the early 1990’s into luxury apartments. These are in a modern Tuscan style throughout, although the careful restoration has left many of the original farm house details intact; the stonework, terracotta floors, arches and old fireplaces.

All apartments are very close to the master villa, the restaurant and other facilities. They are all very luxurious with satellite/cable television and telephone. There is a living room with a small kitchen, large comfortable sofa and armchairs. In some apartments, the sofa is in fact a sofa-bed, which could be used for children. Please let us know if you are interested in a room with a sofa-bed. 3 types of apartments exits, 1 bedroom for 2 people, 2 bedroom for 3 people and 2 bedroom for 4 people with either 1 or 2 bathrooms.

Luxury Apartment (2 person)

This apartment type is for 2 adults. It consists of a large living room with a kitchen, 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom.

Luxury Apartment (3 person)

This apparent has 2 bedrooms, one single and one double bed, living room with kitchen and 2 bathrooms.

Luxury Apartment (4 person type A)

This apparent has 2 double bedrooms, a living room with kitchen and 2 bathrooms.

Luxury Apartment (4 person type B)

This apparent has 2 double bedrooms, a living room with kitchen and 1 bathroom.

Prices

We have negotiated very special rates for our wedding for 2 nights (arriving Friday 25^th June and leaving Sunday 27^th June). However, if you like to extend your stay e.g. come a day earlier or leave a day later or even stay an entire week, Casa Bianca will offer you 10% discount on the Rack Rates. Please find the rates below. All rates are per person per night (p.p.p.n.), including breakfast. Children under the age of 4 come free of charge.

Travel

You can travel to Tuscany by car or plane. Tuscany is served by a number of airports like Pisa, Bologna, Florence, Rome and Milan. Please find below an overview of the airports and their estimated distance and travel time to the wedding location:

It is advisable to book your flights as soon as possible since June is high season in Tuscany and prices can go up quickly. Please find below a listing if the different airlines, which have regular services to airports in Tuscany and surroundings.

Car Hire

The major rental companies like Hertz, Avis and Budget all have offices on the airports where you can pick up and return your car. It is advisable to rent your car in advance as prices may rise and availability might be limited. Some airlines like Ryanair have very favourable rates with Hertz.
