Our Engagement |
On November 8th 2003 we got engaged on a holiday in South Africa. Bo had been contemplating proposing for a long while and bought the ring during the summer 2003. As he came out of the shop Jeannette called him and asked what he was doing, to Bo a very frightening experience. For months, he was waiting for the right moment, but many passed without being the right one. Finally, in South Africa visiting the Sandberg Farm in Stellenbosch, we had the most wonderful and romantic sunsets. Bo cooked a nice dinner on the barbeque and the terrace in front of the room was a romantic setting with the table mountain near Cape Town on the horizon.
After the magic word Yes from Jeannette, we cracked open a bottle of Brut from one of the best local producers, Pierre Jouet (Franschhoek) and enjoyed the magic sunset.
We are very happy to to take our relationship to this next level but to most of our friends, it wasn't surprising at all after nearly 6 years together. |
