Can't explain exactly what draws me to the search for those that came before me, but as I find documents that relate to my ancestors the desire grows to learn more.  The young woman, who was only married for four years before her husband deserted her for the wilderness of Missouri, alone with two young boys.  The young sisters who lost their mother to milk fever one month, only to lose their father two months later when he was murdered during a mugging.  The man struck down by a train when he was only 30 or the young boy who was killed when a wagon dray carrying a load of steel pipes ran over him.  The grandfather who died when my mother was just a child.  The baby, taken much too soon, laying in an unmark grave in a strange place.  People whose blood flows through my veins, whose sweat and tears, joys and heartaches, made my existence possible.

I plan to add pictures of some of these relatives as pictures are found.  Below are some of my personal favorite links, I'll be adding more as I find them.
