Dj Demonic's Review's "From The Booth"

Flour City Knuckleheads

FCK is an amazing band formed from members of Spoiled Milk in 2001. These guys bring the '77 style punk back to Western NY with a vengeance, it makes you think why this music went away in the first place. There first show at Weeksend was opening up for the Graveyard Rockers October 25th '02, who stole the show playing as the 4 ugliest women I have ever seen. these guys are totally worth the $5 cover just to see them, so make sure, the next time you bring all your friends.

Hit List

Hit List has been around for many years, and have played Weeksend countless times with Starcom Pinball (now known as the Emerson's). These guys are in the punk genre, but its like nothing I've ever heard. Adams catchy guitar solos, Johns slick bass lines, and Aarons crazy ability to rock out on drums and sing so clearly, makes these guys a required band to see when you get the chance. Hit List I am guessing is what they called themselves after looking over there set list for the first time.

Assumptions Debbie

Assumptions Debbie is a superpower in form of a band from Albion, NY. After many shows playing with many different styles of bands of punk, metal, and hardcore, they have found there following outside of the everyday Weeksend crowd. Their last show at the time of this review (sept. 27th) was them and them only, but yet brought a very strong crowd of diverse people, and for that they deserve props. Now, as for their sound, is more of a modern hard rock, with a slight touch of emo. This music is great to come to listen to and chill. Let me tell you something though, these guys love to mosh. I've seen these guys drop there instruments in mid song to join in a good pit. "Come to see them in the future, trust me there live shows can only be paralleled to Spiderman!"

Graveyard Rockers

Graveyard Rockers have been recently making a name for themselves in the Rochester-Buffalo area, as The Emerson's and The Squares unite. Their fresh sound is rocking reminiscing of Misfits, AFI and the Japanese band Balzac. You would swear Jason Decay (vocals) has something wrong with him watching him run around covered in blood with his evil stare. Also, beware of Ricky the Impaler's and Pat Demonic's dueling Devilocks, and insane stage presence. And come prepared to mosh with Brain's amazing powerful drumming ability. Not only is the music impressive and catchy, but the blood content is equal to a cheesy horror movie, so don't wear good clothes when you come to one of there shows cause they're not happy until all the bloods used upon the crowd.
