Truckee at Lake Tahoe
my favorite soaring location:
I try to do most of my soaring at Truckee. Soar Truckee is only open for the summer season.
The soaring conditions are great. The Soar Truckee accomodation is very convenient. There are great social gatherings, like the weekly Saturday barbeque.
Good people. And most important thing: The tow rates are very affordable.

It is amazing but Jan Driessen is also originally from Eindhoven and learned to fly at the same club as I did: the Eindhoven Aero Club zweefvlieg combinatie (EACzc).
Only with a 40 year time difference !!
