LIVING WITH CHRONIC PAIN

There's not much to say. There are some people out there who are in almost constant pain. I am *not* one of them. I suffer intermittently. I am truly one of the fortunate ones. But even then, let me tell ya folks!!! it is not easy. I have become intimately familiar (not by choice) of the conditions FMS (Fibromyalgia) and CFIDS (Chronic Fatigue Immune Deficiency Disease). If you suffer from either (or both) of these or any other disorder which places you in chronic physical pain, please, seek out others for support. I found sanctuary in talking to others with similar life challenges. Suddenly life was not so lonely - I was *not* alone, someone else *knew* what I was going through.

I am trying to put together some links that I have found that seem helpful. As always, I ask you dear reader, if you know of any sites that would help, please e-mail and I will include them.

Be well and safe, my friend. You really *don't* suffer alone! And hang on to the hope that each day our medical community comes closer and closer to understanding these puzzling and crippling disorders!

This is an entry from my on-line journal written one night after hours of suffering. I am at my worst at night, having lost some of my coping skills to exhaustion. This entry is sarcastic and cynical, but it is honest expression of what it is like to suffer from this condition.
