Monday, June 01, 1891

I commenced working for the Wis. Lumber Co. at 1.25 per

day. Well when I left home I thought I would not have to work

out any more but alas there is many a slip between the cup

and the lip.

I went to church today, the same place where Kate and I went

eight years ago. It seemed like living them days over again

but that can never can be.

Friday, July 03, 1891

I quit working for the Wis. Lumber Co. and Nellie and Maud

came down from Minneapolis.

Monday, July 06, 1891

I started for home, came to Milaca staid at Milaca all night got

home at 5 o'clock P.M. July 7.

Thursday, July 09, 1891

I went over to Kerrick's staid until 11 o'clock P.M. this is the

first time that I ever got Annie to sit up with me.

Friday, August 07, 1891

My term of office as Clerk of school Dist. No. 34 Benton Co

expired and I turned the books over to J. Williams my

successor in office.

Saturday, August 08, 1891

Johnny Secambe came back from Montana had been gone a

year.
