| I quit working for Conyer. I could not suit him. He is an old |
| crank any way. |
| Wednesday, May 25, 1892 |
| I came home today well I am sorry that I could not suit him I |
| shall never start any thing again on the eleventh of May it |
| seems that everything goes against me the last year. Ah! |
| well it is a long road that has no turning point. |
| Friday, May 27, 1892 |
| Miss Ida Kerrick invited me to go to a leap year dance at |
| Bridgeman in Milettes hall. I excepted and had a very nice |
| time. this is the first one that I was ever to. |
| Monday, May 30, 1892 |
| I went out to St. Cloud as a witness for Will Waldhoff on his |
| fire case against the Rail Road Co. but it did not come to |
| trial. I went down to Whitneys and stayed all night. Went up |
| to Charleys and stayed all night. June 3rd I came home and |
| Hilda came out home with me and we all went down to hear |
| the exercises of the last day of school. Miss Skates as |
| teacher. they were very good. |
| Sunday, June 12, 1892 |
| I went down to Hurts Saturday and stayed all night. This is the |
| first time that I have saw Lizzie since last Christmas but there |
| was another fellow there. So I guess her and I will never get |
| intimate together any more. We have had come awful nice |
| times. |
