| I went over to Kerricks and spent the afternoon and sat up |
| with Ida until twelve o'clock. |
| Monday, July 04, 1892 | Never took Jennie |
| Sister Hilda came out from St. Cloud to the picnic and so did | anywhere again she |
| Myrtle Brown I had a good talk with her and she told me all | made a fool of herself |
| about her not going with me that evening and ask me to come |
| out and see her. I took my partner Miss Tripp home and |
| slept awhile then went down to Mr. Hurts and took dinner |
| there went over to Uncle Martins and stayed all afternoon then |
| came back and sat up with Lizzie until 12 o'clock to home at |
| noon July 6th. |
| Wednesday, July 06, 1892 |
| Bro. Joe went out and killed a deer this is the first one that he |
| ever killed alone with a rifle. |
| Wednesday, July 13, 1892 |
| Lizzie Hurt and her Grandfather came up here. and the folks |
| were all gone to town. so her and me had to get dinner. We |
| had a splendid time and I went up to the park and saw her on |
| the train. She is a dear girl. |
| Saturday, August 13, 1892 |
| We went to Kerricks to a sociable had a very nice time. I |
| read an essay on character this is the first time that I have |
| took a part for a long time. |
