Friday, March 24, 1893

I came home having quit work for Foley Bro's. I put in four

months and a half for them.

Saturday, March 25, 1893

Bro. Joe came home from school at Sauk Rapids. He has

been going to the Central College. He passed the

examination and got a third grade certificate.

Tuesday, March 28, 1893

I went to St. Cloud to visit with Hilda got in there at nine in the

evening. The - 29 - I went by to Sauk Rapids and paid my

taxes in the evening I went up town to see Myrtle and we had

a fine time together, the best we ever had.

The - 30 - I bought me a new suit of clothes and overcoat

and visited old Brown's College for a little while. I think less of

it every time I see it.

the - 31 - I went up to see Myrtle in the evening. We did

not get along very well. It seems that none of the girls like me

very well. I am sorry that Myrtle & I can not get along as I think

lots of her. And we have had such good times together but it

can't be helped so I will bear my lot, and let the world wag as

it will for I am a gentleman still.

Tuesday, April 04, 1893

I came home sick and sad hearted. I don't care much how

things go. I wish I could go far from here. Perhaps I will.
