Scissors Cheap pair for cutting wire edge ribbon.

Backing I use crinoline, a pretty heavy grade.

I get white and use permanent marking pens to color it.

You only need a small piece as it is trimmed away as the second to last step in construction.

Fray check Any brand. Fabric stiffening solution is also helpful.

Beads Pearls, buttons, lace… all kinds of odds and ends.
