Ms. Crane's love of Cats!

Greetings and salutations fellow cat lovers! Here's the chance for my cats and friend's cats to have their fifteen minutes of fame!

My name is Elizabeth and I have always been a cat fancier! Forever and always has the pitter-patter of cat claws on the linoleum been present in my life!

This is Zak with his "play-date", Babs the bunny! Zak is a Balinese kitty who howls his wants and needs for the entire neighborhood to hear! He loves his mommy, (that would be me!), and a warm lap...heating blanket...or running clothes-dryer! He loves his brothers and sisters...they tolerate him..sortuv..some more than others! He has a taste for black-forest ham....which he only gets as a treat, (doctor's orders!). He sleeps with us every night..preferably on my head...and he's VERY affectionate. He was a show-cat at one point and even a stud...he came to me for his retirement, and is making the most of it. He loves to attack my fingers when I'm on the computer and my "cat" cursor fascinates him! I love him dearly!

Blake is officially my daughter, Alison's cat. This photo is a rarity because Blake usually does everything possible to avoid contact of any kind with his brother.

The papasan is a favorite spot for Blake...usually it is so covered with cat hair that no-one would want to sit there anyway!

This is Blake sitting in his favourite spot...my daughter's huge purple pillow on her bed! Blake is our oldest kitty...he is very furry and leaves tumbleweeds everywhere! He is very soft with beautiful green eyes. He's our only kitty that goes outside because he doesn't go very far and we keep a close eye on him. He shys away from fights, but somehow manages to get covered in "pickys" that we have to comb out.... His favourite treats are cooked green peas and rice..??? He also LOVES french-fries!

This is the infamous Jezebel that we've all been waiting for! She came to us when someone unfortunately didn't want her anymore! She is a beautiful animal with a lovely coat and sweet demeanor! She talks and seeks affection from all of us. Another unfortunate event in her life included having her claws removed....she still tries to sharpen them, though! Her arch-enemy is Kiddums...the little brother she finds hard to love! He taunts her and loves to get a rise from her...we step-in and save her, though...being clawless and all... We cannot understand how her former owners could have given her up so easily...we have grown to love her immensely!

This is my daughter, Alison with our baby, Denzel! We all call him Kiddums, though...it's stuck from when he came to us! Denzel is VERY bad...he loves to chase anything that moves...especially his sister! He also will eat anything...that moves, or NOT! He has an ample girth that can attest to this! He will sleep and cuddle with Zak and they play nicely together. Blake ignores him completely! He loves to bite toes in the middle of the night, and he loves to help make the bed in the morning! Kiddums also feels the need to observe the daily ritual of cleaning the cat-box! He will watch and wait...when all's clear, (that would be me!), he's back in there putting the cat-litter back as he wants it! He has a beautiful shiny coat that is very soft. We love him to pieces, and laugh at his antics...even at 3:00 AM! There's something to be said about being SO cute!

Here's Blake with Santa! The sign said ALL pets were welcome that day and the proceeds would go to the local Humane Society. Blake was the only kitty in attendance, lotsa doggies were there, though! This may be the reason both Blake and Santa look SO tense! I love this photo, but we won't be doing this again anytime soon....and I advise not to try this at home!
