So many women and men live their lives in quiet desperation and fear. Not knowing where to turn or who to ask for help. I wish with all my heart that I had all the answers, but I do not. I can offer only my caring and concern, the love in my heart, my story and these few links. And my understanding.... I once lived the same waking nightmare that you are living. And I survived. Someone helped me and there are people out there who will help you, but they need to know that you need help!

The page where I adopted this angel, my very first, seems to have disappeared! If anyone can identify the artist, I would like to give credit where credit is due. Please let me know who you are!

The Park has opened a section called The Park Shelter and Safe Haven. There are sections dealing with many life issues, including Battering and Domestic Violence. They offer informational pages with helpful links and also a moderated chat room. It provides a "safe" place for you to go and talk with others who are experiencing the same pain as you are dealing with every day. Maybe there or on this page of mine, you will find the help that you so desperately need. Or at least the beginning of it.

It is my true belief, that pain is not part of loving...whether that pain is physical, emotional, mental or spiritual. Not all loving hurts. I have discovered that time and time again through my life. I hope with everything in me, that you find a way to protect yourself and be safe. And I hope that one day you will find a love and a life that allows you freedom from pain, freedom from fear and the freedom to grow and be everything that you can be.
