Poetry by Ms. Jasmin 11

The Bay At Night

swift darkness comes
pushing the sun
behind the horizon
wax melting down
a scented candle

a lonely sound
the crying seabirds
screeching 'cross the water
rippling ?neath the sky
calling me

wind chimes in the wind
adding tinkling sounds
rustling leaves
whispering of far places
uncertain dreams

profound silence within
screaming out
through the night sounds
invoking sadness
wounded by love

phone lover

early morning quiet
awaiting you
breathless

heartbeat pounding
wild surf
lashing lonely beach

phone ends the silence
heart starts
new staccato beat

hello my love
second's stillness
hello sweetheart

teasing conversation
little distractions
eating peeled apples

your voice beguiling
massaging poetic lines
caressing me

confiding tenderly
sweet living
in your lines

indrawn breath
trembling desire's
rhythms unfolding

lascivious murmurs
stroking passions
in fluid vibrations

deep mysterious accent
throbs and pulsates
purring pleasure

silky responses
embracing the purrs
screaming abandon

enchanted and seduced
sensual syncopation
muted kind of blue

eating ice cream
creamy almond milk
and you

Home

where the heart is
I've been waiting
a lonely lifetime

come live in me
and fill that place
where dreams dwell

come into my world
and help me find
my way back home

to you...

Waiting

patient
forever cloudy
waiting winter's rest

eternally earthbound
they huddled
weary of snow

separate
but ever one
heart bound

awaiting
to share warmth
freedom flying

Spring waiting
reposed inside
a window
