Robert Messiter Cole 20 Apr 1814 - 25 Feb 1877, migrated to Tasmania then in 1846 to South Australia, and died at 'Goodworth', Riverton, South Australia. He wed 9 May 1850 to Anna Dorothea Gasmier 1833 - 26 May 1900, daughter of Johann Heinrich Martin Gatzmeyer and Anna Maria ? The family came from Mecklenberg, Germany on the George Washington to SA in 1846, they were Lutherans escaping religious persecution and accepted the new version of their surname. Known children who came to Hope Valley, SA are Johan, Maria, Anna Dorothea plus another son and daughter.

6. Albert Edward Cole 28 Apr 1863 - 16 Dec 1900 wed Mary Josephine Keelan when he was aged 27 and she was 26, daughter of Peter Keelen, wed at Christ Church [North Adelaide]
Comrie Thomas Comrie 1834 - 4 Aug 1910 aged 76, son of Janet McEwan and Jonathan Comrie of Braco, Perthshire, Scotland, trained as a Grocer then on 15 Nov 1856 boarded the Instanboul at Grenock, Renfrewshire, to arrive at Port Phillip Bay on 28 Jan 1857 with his elder brother James 1828. He went into business as Thomson&Comrie with General Stores around the towns of the Goldfields including Tarnagulla. He wed 14 Jan 1863 to Elizabeth Weir 24 Jul 1841 - 29 Mar 1914, daughter of Eliza Bell and Joseph Weir at Aughadowey, County Derry, Northern Ireland. All but daughter Catherine are buried in a vault at Tarnagulla. John played sport, and went to New Zealand to try to improve his health, but to continued to decline so he returned to the family in Tarnagulla. James Comrie came with Thomas on the 'Istanboul, Jan 1857 and did not stay.
