Tiley

As you are aware Edmund was married twice, his first marriage was to Emma Lester, you have down three sons to that marriage, my great grandmother was their first child Mary. She was born in Bristol, Gloustershire in 1856 and made the trip out from England at the very young age of one year, they travelled on the ship "Shalimar" which sailed from Liverpool on the 16/8/1857 arriving at Geelong Victoria on 11/11/1857.
Mary Tiley married on the 6/11/1879 (ref 1879 #4386) to James Wills at the Presbyterian Manse in Beaufort Victoria, they had eight children and Mary's surname is sometimes recalled as Tyley.
Mary died on the 10/2/1942 at the age of 86 years and is buried at the Bulla Cemetary.

Turner

Charles Turner (who may be one of the children) arrived at Port Adelaide just before 30 March, 1839, on the Buckinghamshire. He was listed with Edward Junior, Jane, Mary, Noah and Thomas.
Henry Crowhurst and his wife Susan Turner were also passengers on the Buckinghamshire.
Charles Turner later resided at Bowden, South Australia. On 27 Oct 1845 at Adelaide, he wed Eliza Polkinghorne.

Barnabas Harvey 41, a gardner, arrived March 1849 on the Osprey with Mary 36, Thomas 18, John 15, Henry 13, Ellen 13, Edwin 10 and Lucy Emily aged 1. Frederick was baptised 1853 at Geelong Methodist Church. Henry died 1867 aged 32, his birthplace appears to have been Jersey. Also with Jersey as birthplace are Edwin Harvey wed 1869 to Zipporah Rodda, and Lucy Ann Emily Harvey wed 1870 to Robert Horatio McCracken.
An IGI submitted entry identifies Barnabas Harvey as a son of Maria Cutler and William Hervey living at Bull Hill, near Portmore, New Forest, Hampshire, England, and he wed 1833 to Mary Pinnock baptised 6 Dec 1812 at Boldre, New Forest, Hampshire dau of Lucy Harvey and Robert Pinnock.
William Essom aged 15 came Sep 1847 on the Joseph Somes as an Exile, Convicted at Northampton, Liberty of Peterborough Quarter Sessions for a term of 7 years on 09 April 1846.
Winkles Gershon and Henry Wikles both adults, came Oct 1852 on the Mobile as Unassisted Immigrants
Ellen Harvey born c1835, wed 1854 to William Essom c1829 - 1867 son of Mary and Thomas Essom of Nort and had 5 chn - Alice 1857, Emily 1859, Julia 1863, William 1864 and Henry 1867, but in 1869 Alice and the two boys died and later elder daughter Emily E wed in 1883 Creswick to Henry Ebenezer Nichols born in Hobart. Ellen wed 1870 to Henry Gershom Winkles c1830 - ? born in Hampshire, with chn Henry Harvey Winkles 1871 and Ann Selina Ellen Winkles 1874, he had wed 1862 to Ann Salmon who died and so did her son 1864. He may be Henry Winkles, school teacher c1866 at the Cattle Station Hill Common school (Glendonald ? near Creswick).<
From Rootsweb - Channel Island - Barnabas Harvey married Mary Pinnock somewhere in the UK. Children were Edwin b 1838 Jersey Channel Island, Henry 1835 Jersey CI, Ellen 1835 possibly same,Lucy Ann Emily b 1846 UK somewhere. The above family came to Australia 1849 and settled. L.A.E returned 1870 to Jersey and married Robert Horatio McCracken (born 15 Oct 1845 at Hobart, Tasmania) - no info where they went from there (This is wrong, the wedding was in Victoria). Family history says the family owned a pub/hotel in France back in 1800's.
