i'd been warned many times in the past. if you ever want to get into "must not reproduce" mode, visit your local chuch e. cheese's. well. we did. and... i absolutely adored it. hello? there's whacka-whacka games and cotton candy! the best part was when we looked up and found garrett on a ride that snaps pictures - a sweet little boy had put in one of his own tokens to let garrett ride. the picture above was the result, and the hand in the lower right corner belongs to the little token-angel. awesome.

after a sleepover at angela's i spent all day yesterday playing wildly with both her and her son. we watched they might be giants which quickly proved to end up on my 'movies i love' list... ("they'll find us close. together. in the night..." wah.) and scary gumby movies from the 50'ies or so.

after turning their livingroom into a moshpit with dim lights, head-banging, nine inch nails remixes and giggling adults and child she drove me home, complete with an old x-mas neiman-marcus catalogue and all to show people (they were selling an entire DINER as a x-mas gift.), and a bag full of chocolate chip cookies.
