Stylish Rita Hayworth

'I am a Very Stylish Girl'

At least that's what the two tags on my chest say. Personally I see nothing stylish about an ill fitting hiked up black skirt with side splits in it, but hey, I only write the tags. I do not question.

(However, a guy at the computer next to me did when he tried to read it: "i ama very shct.. schtalgrr...?" Frr. He should try poking that many words into two tiny little tags using a thick black marker while still keeping it somewhat readable sometime.)

MeaniePooHead of The Month

You may not have noticed it, but march is the annual Meanie Poo Head Month. However, this year, instead of firing off small jabs every day I decided to just name the biggest Meanie Poo Head of the Month today and be done with it. Yes - you guessed it - The MeaniePooHead of the Month 1999 is.. SLOBODAN MILOSEVIC!
Well money stinks, of course. School... a bit stressy, perhaps. Personal life? It's going quite well, I suppose. I've been crumbling a bit the past two days. Nothing serious, it's not like a hand is suddenly going to fall off, true, but alas, I have been crumbling.

It doesn't worry me a lot, true, but it feels a bit unmotivated and uncalled for. Sort of like brushing my hair in Gene's car only to find too much hair finding its way onto the brush rather than sticking to me head. You know, little things like that.

Things pile up, like the tend to do. It's too frequent of an occurance to even lead me to beat myself up over it - I just accept it, sigh, feel guilty and wait for the current day/week/month/semester/summer/year to end, and that's that.

Research paper, two English papers, 20 one-page narratives for Arts & Humanities, Visa card expiring, not enough money for the bus until I get paid, IF I get paid, sites to update, classes to pick out for next semester, registering, argh, argh, argh.

It's okay though - nothing a little dreaming of hair dye and a really good meal won't take care of.

Hmm. Unrelatedly, I am pondering wether or not I should start taking Japanese next semester or not. I did English Swedish Russian German Latin Spanish French already (trust me, that's not bragging - my grades varied a LOT - I hit anything from an F in German[rarely attended, thank you very much.] to an A in English).

The thing is, I got exempt last semester from having to study a foreign language here and I was pleased with that because.. well LOOK at the list. I was bored, quite frankly. I recall saying over and over again how sick I was of having to ignore and detest the grammar of too many languages and would be happy if I never saw another badly illustrated outdated text book again about some awfully boring and lame main character but...

It would be sort of nifty. I do like to learn more about other cultures and language classes usually teach a lot more than just how to flip someone off in an appropriate way. Yey - let's hear it to spreading childish, rude, silly behaviour in as many languages as possible!!
